Our message

A Warm Welcome to Kilbroney Timberframe

In the developed world most new homes are now built from natural, organic, and non-toxic timber frame. Timber frame houses have been around in Ireland and the UK for a long time and have proved their durability, with the same expected lifespan as a conventional type of house, but with the added advantages of much faster construction and improved energy efficiency – up to 40% more efficient than traditional block-constructed houses.

At Kilbroney Timberframe we have built up more than 35 years’ experience in the construction industry, and over 25 years specifically in the timber frame manufacturing sector. Our team have been recognised by the major UK and Irish quality assurance bodies as consistent providers of high-quality results, and our commitment to the environment means that we strive to lead by example in all aspects of our building processes.

“From my first meeting with Mark to the completion of my build the guys at Kilbroney Timberframe were nothing but extraordinary.  They really took the time to discuss everything with me and the quality of my house is superb, Lyndsey and Lauren were so responsive to any query I had and always had time to chat about my build.  I could not recommend these guys enough and I would urge anyone looking at building a timber frame home to use Kilbroney.  Guys thank you so much!”

Martin Drumm Glenavy, County Antrim

“We were very pleased with Kilbroney Timber Frame. We were complete novices when it came to building a house.  From our first meeting with Mark, he was able to guide us in the right direction, right through to completion we were very satisfied with the workmanship and service provided by Eddie and his team.  We would recommend Kilbroney Timber Frame for a first-class service.”

“We had the pleasure of dealing with Kilbroney in 2020 on our new house build. The company were excellent to deal with from start to finish and everybody from the admin staff in the office to the lads on site were 100% professional and accommodating in their work and in our interactions with them. We couldn’t speak highly enough of the company in what was quite a difficult build on a small site, it ran smoothly and without incident. We would highly recommend Kilbroney Timberframe Ltd if you are considering building a home.”

Anita & Darren Ward Dunboyne County Meath

Our decision to build our first new home in our seventies was driven by the need for disability access. We had no previous experience, so we relied on personal recommendations for selecting Kilbroney which agreed a fixed price contract and approximate timescale. The build was generally uneventful, and any problems were minor and amicably resolved with Eddie or Mark Cooper. It was finished on time given the economic situation and on budget.
We are delighted with our new home which addresses many of our needs and found the support from Kilbroney made the process, which could have been overwhelming, so much easier and satisfying.
A special thanks to Mark, Eddie, Lindsay and Lauren who were always at the end of the phone to sort any issues.
